We celebrated theater in Spanish for the second year in a row as part of the Orlando Fringe Festival. The stories and music made us remember those lands and homes we left behind.
This was the winning piece of the second edition of the “Escena Abierta” Playwriting Contest written by Abraham Hanze, directed and adapted by Kelly Sánchez and starring Abigaíl Laboy, with music by Olga Guillot, Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, and live chords by Andres Guzman.
